The Sertoma Club of Bradenton

This scholarship is for students who have been determined hard of hearing or have speech impediment by a certified audiologist. or speech therapist. To be eligible, a student must:

1). Be a new student entering the State College of Florida as a first time in college student.
2). Be a citizen of the United States of America, residing in Manatee County.
3). Be enrolled full-time (9+ semester hours for health science programs and 12+ semester hours for non-health science programs).
4). Be enrolled in a four-year bachelor program or two-year AA University Transfer degree intending to seek a four-year degree.
5). Have a minimum cumulative 2.5 grade point average in high school.
6). Fill out the FASFA form and demonstrate financial need as determined by FASFA standards.
7). Complete a 500 word essay on the importance of community service and how education can prepare one for “Service to Mankind.”
8). Participate in an online donor meeting or in-person scholarship luncheon on November 2nd, 2022.
9) Attend a Sertoma Club meeting for the presentation of the award. Date of the meeting is to be determined.
10). Write a thank you letter within one week of receiving this email notification to the {{ portfolio.name }} selection committee.
11). Update any change of address and/or telephone number as soon as possible by logging on to the SCFF scholarship system and altering the general application.
