Newbs Memorial Scholarship

To be eligible, a student must:

1). Be accepted into or enrolled in a degree program at the State College of Florida at the time of the award.
2). Be considered a Florida resident for tuition purposes.
3). Be in compliance with the Satisfactory Academic Progress requirements (SAP).
4). Maintain a minimum cumulative 2.0 grade point average. The scholarship is renewable if the 2.0 GPA and other eligibility criteria are maintained. The application must be resubmitted each year.
5). Be a current resident of Manatee or Sarasota County.
6). Be an active participant in the athletic department assisting the athletic director (IE: student manager).
7). Attend classes on the Bradenton campus.
8). Include two letters of recommendation with the application.
10). Participate in an online donor meeting or in-person scholarship luncheon on November 2nd, 2022.
11). Write a thank you letter within one week of receiving this email notification to the {{ }} selection committee.
12). Update any change of address and/or telephone number as soon as possible by logging on to the SCFF scholarship system and altering the general application.
